Title: Associate Sustainability Consultant
Location: United Kingdom and Northern Ireland. Home-based with infrequent travel.
Salary: £23,000-£30,000 full time (based on experience)

The Role:
The Associate Sustainability Consultant will be an integral part of our team, providing key support across a wide range of our services. You will be ready to build experience working with clients across a wide range of industries and at different stages in the sustainability journey.
What the job involves:
⦁ Learning quickly about different types of businesses and sustainability practices across a variety of sectors
⦁ Learning and applying client relationship and stakeholder engagement skills to help ensure client-buy in and a deep understanding of the client’s challenges and opportunities in order to deliver services effectively
⦁ Project managing a number of concurrent tasks to deadlines set by yourself and your manager, in relation to client delivery schedules
⦁ Researching sustainability issues as they relate to organisations and their stakeholders
⦁ Passionately learning and absorbing information to become an expert in sustainability
⦁ Data management and review, such as energy and carbon, social impact metrics, and more
⦁ Producing accurate, high quality, and engaging outputs which can be used in reports and presentations
⦁ Effective organisation and management of your own time, and also the time of your colleagues and clients
⦁ Support on workshops and training sessions for clients (both in person and online)
⦁ Undertaking research and analysing information and data to turn in to easily understandable, succinct outputs
⦁ Maintaining and building on JustOne’s information and knowledge systems
⦁ Supporting JustOne in its own internal systems, processes and decision making
⦁ Being an active part of JustOne achieving its own sustainability strategy goals – Empower 2025
⦁ Being a supportive and constructive member of the team
What we would like to see from you:
⦁ Passionate about social justice and reversing the climate crisis
⦁ Knowledge and experience in social and/or environmental sustainability (no formal qualifications required)
⦁ Strong problem-solving skills
⦁ A rigorous approach and attention to detail in your approach to both quantitative and qualitative research and analysis (no formal qualifications in these specific skills required)
⦁ Personable and clear communication, interpersonal and client management skills
⦁ Ability to work to client determined deadlines
⦁ Excellent team-working, contributing towards a positive team dynamic
⦁ Willingness to take ownership of projects and see them through from start-to-finish
⦁ Fluency in MS Office programmes (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
⦁ Fluency in social media management (desirable)
